New Approaches to Raphael Lemkin

Il nuovo numero dell'autorevole rivista accademica "Journal of Genocide Research" (XV, 3, 2013) ha per tema New Approaches to Raphael Lemkin. Come si può intuire dal titolo, l'obiettivo è quello di analizzare l'insegnamento del celebre avvocato ebreo polacco (1900-1959) che coniò il termine "genocidio" e ne definì le numerose implicazioni giuridiche.
Accostarsi all'opera di Lemkin rimane una tappa obbligata per comprendere appieno il genocidio e le sua sfaccettature. Al tempo stesso, ci aiuta ad accantonare idee radicate ma datate, come quella che vede nella Shoah l'unico genocidio dimenticando tutti gli altri.
